1420116 2016-05-04 23:19:00 How long ago did windows 10 go in ?

Often W10 is doing upgrades in the background which will cause all the Symptoms mentioned.

W10 will run quite happy and quick on 4GB memory ona standard Hard Drive, its often background settings or programs slowing things down.

1420117 2016-05-04 23:24:00 Was mid to late December and been running okay.
Doing this is fine, just takes a while for websites to open.
I run CC almost everyday and being a fresh install, not an upgrade no crapware from that.
Any ideas?

1420118 2016-05-05 02:38:00 Is it just the browser that is slow, what's it like generally on other tasks?
What anti-virus do you use, do you use any add-ons in the browser, is your internet just slow....

An SSD is a great quality of life upgrade and I swear by them but if your issues are not drive related you may be disappointed. Personally I'd still do it because they are just better :)

A few years back I had a 1 year licence for Kaspersky as part of a hardware purchase so I thought I'd try it as it had some great reviews. A month or so later of swearing at my browser going slow particularly when viewing google image search results and I finally put 2 and 2 together and removed Kaspersky - everything back to normal. Point is sometimes it's not what you think it is and it pays to step back and consider what else could be causing the problems.
