1415936 2016-02-12 04:31:00 Today I successfully rolled back an old guys laptop to Windows 7 from Windows 10 :banana
He was completely stumped when MS did a sneaky thing, and somehow installed it without him clicking on the nag thing.
He was extremely frustrated as you can imagine how an 85 year old would feel, poor guy!

He was also extremely happy to get Windows 7 back and all his familiar things once again. He insisted on paying me double what I was going to charge him. (Which was almost next to nothing). I don't charge older people much anyway. Turned out a good day. :)

1415940 2016-02-12 06:33:00 Dont really want to rain on your parade, but it will come right back and reinstall again unless you take all the measures to stop it.Even rolling it back the install files are still there, just waiting. wainuitech (129)
1415941 2016-02-12 08:50:00 Yeah WT, have thought about that, what to do to prevent it from installing it again! I told the guy never click on the flag thing again.

1415942 2016-02-12 09:27:00 Theres a few ways LL, have a read of how-to-stop-windows-7-or-8-from-downloading-windows-10-automatically/ (www.howtogeek.com). Theres a link at the end of the article that you have to read as well, Under "So You Already Have the $WINDOWS.~BT Folder?" wainuitech (129)
1415943 2016-02-12 09:38:00 And we are worried about TPPA or is MS part of this already. Lurking (218)
