| 606756 | 2007-10-30 23:41:00 | Hi all, I am on XP Pro. When i log on, I have two user accounts - my one and Administrator (Admin'or). I would like to keep XP's Welcome screen. I log on to my account daily, and very occasionally use the Admin'or account. I would like to have my account selected automatically, ready for me to type the password. (see www.imagef1.net.nz - ignore the user names!). This is a mockup taken when the PC boots - before any keystrokes or mouse clicks take place. Is this trick possible? I noticed that sometimes if a newly installed PC has only 1 user account, that user account is preselected, and also if the Guest accoutn and my account are on the welcome screen my normal account is selected. Is this possible to do wthout reverting to the classic logon (Press Ctrl Alt Del to begin) prompt? *shudders* All help appreciated! |
