| 606704 | 2007-10-30 18:54:00 | Morning all, Turned my computer on the other day and found the start-up login window had a funny looking, washed out font being displayed, ie not as sharp as it usually is. Desktop fonts are washed out looking as well. I can play round with little things like resoltions, large fonts, anti-aliasing etc and get it looking better, but I seem to always end up with the same settings as when I started the computer up. Then when I start the computer up again the following morning, I am back to square one.... cheers veale |

| 606705 | 2007-10-30 19:17:00 | Sounds Like the Graphic Drivers are either damaged or have gone AWOL. Right click on "My Computer" Properties/Hardware Tab/ Device Manager, expand out the Display Adapter and see what type of graphics you have. If it only has "standard Graphics" or words to that effect, then you have to find out what graphics are required, one way is while connected to the internet, right click the graphics, and "update drivers". Other than that what make /model of Motherboard /Graphic Card do you have ? |
