606442 2007-10-30 00:56:00 Did a search to see if there were any threads on this first and found nothing. Is there a way to back up Outlook 03 data (addressbook, calander, mail etc) into another file such as Exel only I want to be able to back it up using Synctoy to automatically back up this data regularly  gary67 (56)
606443 2007-10-30 05:53:00 You can always try this Here (www.microsoft.com), never tried it myself though.

OR to do it manually simply tell synctoy to back up the .PST folder/file.

To locate the the .pst file do a search, also select "hidden files and Folders" and search for *.pst. that will tell you the location of the file/folder

Or to do it manually look here for Instructions (8help.osu.edu)

I used to use Synctoy to back up my Outlook 2003 data files. As wainuitech said, find the .PST file, and set up Synctoy to back up that folder. The one file contains all your emails, calendar, contacts etc, and you can simply restore that back if something goes wrong.

606445 2007-10-30 06:18:00 This is what the search window will look like Here (www.imagef1.net.nz)
And this is something like the results you should get, Here (www.imagef1.net.nz) you will need to put the full path in Synctoy for it to work.

606446 2007-10-30 06:21:00 One last thing is that you have to close Outlook when you're running the backup, or it won't work. somebody (208)
