| 606781 | 2007-10-31 04:45:00 | Hey. Well i just installed a DVD Multi Drive (LG GSA-4160B) And whenever i put a blank DVD-R in there, its just recognizes the Drive as a CD Drive. Please help asap. |

| 606782 | 2007-10-31 05:01:00 | Thats normal. It will show cd drive with a blank DVD. Or blank CD. Until you burn something to it, and change the name of the DVD / finalise it. Then it'll show the name of the DVD / CD. |

| 606785 | 2007-10-31 07:59:00 | Yer like I said its normal . This burner shows DVD-RAM by default too, and changes to cd rom when I put a blank CD or DVD in it . WHAT are you using to burn whatever to DVD?? If XP's burning it doesnt support burning to DVD by default . | 606787 | 2007-10-31 08:14:00 | Well I dont think WMP or Moviemaker can write to DVD (by default) Altho I think Vista can, XP cant. Nerovision SHOULD (well it might, depending on WHAT option you selected). As some plugins for Nerovision arent free (you have to pay for them). You didnt format the DVD BEFORE you burned to it, did you?? Because you DONT format it. What else is on the same ide connection as this burner??? Anything?? |

| 606789 | 2007-10-31 08:23:00 | Make sure before you burn, the burner is selected, and its not on image recorder . Which burns an image to the hdd . It doesnt burn whatever to the DVD . |
