606769 2007-10-31 03:10:00 Restart router / computer?
Disable firewall temporarily and see if internet works for you?

Cheers :)

606772 2007-11-01 08:18:00 Looks ok to me, ZA may have turned its proxy service off.

Look in control panel / admin tools / services / Proxy service. Double click on it.

See if its running / enabled.

I would tick this entry tho

O24 - Desktop Component 0: (no name) - content.cometsystems.com

Close browser/s first.

I think u may have to install Java as well.

Whatever you've got thats Symantec uninstall it. If its a firewall, it maybe conflicting with ZA.

You shouldnt run 2 firewalls at the same time.

606774 2007-11-03 04:52:00 i dont have 2 firewalls running at the same time i just dont want to uninstall symantec tho because it was on the computer when i bought it and i dont know if it does something important.

What is it then?? The antivirus or a firewall? If its a firewall you DONT need it.

Uninstall it. It'll conflict.

also i could not find the proxy service thing in the services thing in administrative tools in control panel.where else could it be?

Nowhere else, thats where it'll be. I think its called Truevector Proxy service.
