| 607976 | 2007-11-03 09:26:00 | Its on power. I haven't tried it on battery. The ironic thing... ndiswrapper (for Linux) uses the windows driver, so I doubt its a problem with the actual driver |

| 607977 | 2007-11-03 10:10:00 | I think someone else had this problem and it was because of the TCP connections limit put in XP or something and it was stuck at 25 so whenever there were more than 25 connections, *boom* | beeswax34 (63) | ||

Last week I tried via the hotspot at Whangarei airport (with nil results, which was a bit galling given I had already paid Telescum $10 for the privilege). Each time after that when I tried to fire up the laptop it blue screened (endless recycling stuff) if the wireless was switched on, but not if the wireless was switched off. I did a system restore to the day before my trip to Whangarei, and bob's your aunty - all works again. I can only conclude that something with Telescum corrupted things or they installed an incompatible bit of software. Once I got rid of it all was working well again. A bit of a far fetched possibility for you perhaps, but just in case you have been travelling... |
