| 607445 | 2007-11-01 20:52:00 | Hi One and all I am trying to diagnose remotely, for my brother in law, an unusual fault His PC Runs XPH SP2, Win Explorer 6, the problem is whenever he closes “Windows Explorer”, the PC displays a “Windows Error Report” dialogue box with the usual Send or Don’t Send report to MS Regardless of which of these 2 options he picks, the PC then freezes. He then has to CTRL ALT DEL see that Explorer is shown as not responding, picks “End Task” and then all is OK until next time he has to close “Explorer” When “Explorer is open, he is able to navigate to any site, go back or forward without any problems. It is only when he closes “Explorer” that the problem occurs. Are there any suggestions as to what may cause this and hopefully a resolve. Cheers HH |
