| 608922 | 2007-11-06 23:12:00 | Tried one off trademe just for fun, worked perfectly in an old socket 7 MSI board, displaying POST codes correctly and flashing lights etc as indicated by its own manual But in most modern PC it would just make them hang or it wouldn't display anything. I think it's possible, but the cheap ones won't do very well. A very expensive one might work but the normal, cheaper (free) way is probably a much better idea to diagnose your problems With this card in hand, you no longer have to go through tedious and time consuming process of trying to figure out what is wrong with your hardware Exactly what it said for the one I bought too, but mine plugs into PCI/ISA slots |
