608619 2007-11-05 06:32:00 :help: A friend at work gave me a DVD to try to sort out for her (her grandson playing footie in Jaffaland!). It WON'T play on her DVD player, it WON'T play on my desktop with Nero Show Time, it WILL play on my DVD player, and it WILL play on my laptop Nero Show Time and my desktop GOM player and Windows Media Player.

On my desktop, with Nero Show Time, I get the error message:
"Internal error. Cannot build graph. The application my be installed incorrectly".

Any suggestions at to what I might do to make it 'visible' on her DVD player?

As always - TIA. :)

608620 2007-11-05 06:41:00 This site gives one solution (forums.afterdawn.com)

Go to start/run and type:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeAudio.ax

And

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\NeVideo.ax

Close Showtime FIRST.

608621 2007-11-05 06:56:00 Thanks, Speedy. :) That's sorted out the problem with my Nero Show Time on my desktop.

I should have also said, that I re-recorded the DVD using DVD Shrink. I'll give it to her tomorrow to try in her DVD player - and here's hoping!

608622 2007-11-05 07:02:00 No worries, good to hear it worked :)

It sounds like those files didnt get registered when Nero/Showtime was installed.

Hence that error.
