608920 2007-11-06 09:39:00 Is this card (www.1topstore.com) any good for troubleshoting? Or are there any others to recommend? bk T (215)

No idea how well they work, I'd be suspicious of its ability to diagnose everything, there are so many different boards around.
Just diagnose the manual way.

608922 2007-11-06 23:12:00 Tried one off trademe just for fun, worked perfectly in an old socket 7 MSI board, displaying POST codes correctly and flashing lights etc as indicated by its own manual

But in most modern PC it would just make them hang or it wouldn't display anything.

I think it's possible, but the cheap ones won't do very well. A very expensive one might work but the normal, cheaper (free) way is probably a much better idea to diagnose your problems

With this card in hand, you no longer have to go through tedious and time consuming process of trying to figure out what is wrong with your hardware

Exactly what it said for the one I bought too, but mine plugs into PCI/ISA slots
