| 608304 | 2007-11-04 20:18:00 | Hi guys, I have quite a new laptop with an Intel 3945ABG wireless card in it. My router is a WRT54GL with standard firmware, and is about 4 meters behind me through a wall. It is slow to browse, and I notice that when I download things (I've tried multiple sites/file types) my speed might go to say, 540kb/s, then to 14kb/s then to 0kb/s over and over again. WHat could the problem be and how would I diagnose it? My network: wireless G only, channel 1, WPA2-personal TKIP+AES Tom. |
