| 609815 | 2007-11-09 06:47:00 | Just got myself a new 8800GTS 320MB with the latest 163.75 drivers. Card works flawlessly, except for one little yet annoying problem: when I switch user, then logs back in, the names of files and folders on the desktop disappears. I can still open them, and when they are highlighted I can see dark silhouettes for the names of the files/folders. The card idles at 33 degrees and full load increases it to 62, a very tolerable temp for an 8800GTS. The card plays games just fine (even Crysis now, after I've reinstalled it). Can anyone please help? |

| 609816 | 2007-11-09 17:53:00 | Seems to me Nvidia drivers still need improving for the 8800 cards. I have had an 8800 GTS with 760 megs for some months and am still playing with drivers. I am currently running their latest driver supplamented with nHancer.I have found that locking AA at 16 X gives me the best results. |
