| 609696 | 2007-11-09 00:33:00 | Warning for Vista users who use Avast There have been huge problems for people who have downloaded the latest Programme Update.4.7.1074. The auto iAVS updates are fine but if you get a message that a new programme update is there take my advice and DON"T . It nearly totally wrecked my computer. In the end I uninstalled Avast completely and reinstalled it making sure that it reverted to the previous programme. All is now well again. For those that have been having trouble Avast have put our a patch 32-bit Vista: public.avast.com that is supposed to fix it but it didn't help me at all. |

Use Vista firewall with the Vista Firewall control add-on.Never had a moments worry until this update. I understand a new programme update is coming next week to fix this problem. Glad you didn't suffer the troubles I had !!! |
