609844 2007-11-09 18:25:00 Just recently the image on my screen seems to bounce or expand (don't really know how to describe it) whenever I maximise a window. It only seems to happen when I open a program that is maximised (like IE or Outlook etc.) or maximise a window. For about half a second the image on the screen seems to bounce or expand outwards at all the edges then go back to normal.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I have a feeling its a hardware issue, as its happening in both Vista and XP on the same machine...

Screen is a 21" CRT.

Cheers,
Mike.

609845 2007-11-09 19:32:00 It could be the CRT monitor, can you try attaching another Monitor and see if its doing the same thing.
Taking its time to catch up with the graphics being supplied by the PC.

How old is the Monitor also please? I'd swap out the Monitor first as this is the easiest and quickest object to test / elimate.

Not sure how old the screen is... I'm not sure if it is a problem of taking its time catching up as I only ever noticed issues when I maximised windows - games etc. no problem. But the second output on the video card seems to have worked for now.

Cheers,
Mike.
