609007 2007-11-07 02:00:00 I have a friend who is receiving 200~300 russian spam emails a day, and he has asked me if anything can be done about it.

He runs a export/import business between NZ-Japan-Russia, and has email address on website.

I told him first thing I would do was to remove the email from website, and replace it with one of those fill in forms within the site for contacting, so his email isn't picked up by bots.

Secondly, i have shown him how to create rules/filters for spam.

Thirdly, I'm going round his house to help him install mailwasher.(he is using Outlook Express)

Is there anything else I can recommend he do in order to reduce it to a manageable level?

609008 2007-11-07 02:01:00 Use poptray and blacklist the domains. That'll fix it permanently.

I'll even give u a list of blacklisted domains, I've added to it.

609010 2007-11-07 02:20:00 I'll paste a list in PM now.

Once poptray is installed paste them under options / white/black list.. the bottom window.
