| 610828 | 2007-11-12 05:44:00 | here's my problem Whenever i go to make a new profile (using XP) it creates another profile just fine but, i feel that i am limited when i'm using it (i made it computer administrator. First of all whenever i go to download something the download progress comes up but i cant click on anything, i cant even open some programs either, like MSN, and i cant even open my power settings. It may be a virus or i might need to reformat. Also the profile picture always comes up as the fish..... Any help here? |

Do you have access to another Windows XP PC? If you do try copying the Default User folder under Documents & Settings (You have to set Explorer to Show Hidden Files & Folders to see it) and putting onto the machine that is causing problems - Overwrite the existing Default User folder and any files in it. Then try and create a new user profile again. |
