2007-11-12 02:13:00 | If you have to ask then you probably don't need the extra benefits so in short - probably not. | Tukapa (62) | |

2007-11-12 02:39:00 | Currently if you are in NZ the option to upgrade from one version to another is currently not available unless you purchase the whole OS again. That may change some time but no Idea when, thats upto MS.

2007-11-12 03:25:00 | It's hardly worth it. Not for the $$$ involved. | wratterus (105) | |
2007-11-12 04:26:00 | If you want to play movie DVDs in Windows Media Player, you need Home Basic, Home Premium or Ultimate. You can still play DVDs in other programs other than WMP though. BTW Windows Anytime Upgrade doesn't work in NZ

2007-11-12 05:15:00 | I could suggest you download it and try and it and if you think its worth it - buy it, if not, revert back | Pourhommenz (104) | |
2007-11-12 06:08:00 | Unless you get it illegally, you cant downoad it. Its not like shareware - try then pay for it later. Its either buy it, or forget it.

If you have access to a Vista DVD - any one will do as they all have every version on them except 64bit - You can install Vista Ultimate and try for 30 days - then it will need a product key and be activated by Microsoft. I have a Vista Business DVD that I use to install Vista Home Premium or Ultimate all the time. |
