| 610472 | 2007-11-11 08:24:00 | Hi, At about 6pm on Friday my broadband internet connection went disconnected and would no longer connect. I first assumed that it was an outage but after a day i called xnet to see what was going on, and they said that there was nothing wrong with my connection ant their end. I think the problem is in the modem (D-Link DSL-502T). I have tried resetting it and can confirm that all the lights that are meant to be on are on. Do i need to buy a new modem or is there any way to fix this. I also have the modem connected through a router for wireless access for my laptop.(all Ethernet cables) at the moment i have managed to connect via dial-up. |

And 2-3 of the other days, it went down for about 15-30 mins or so . All of the lights were on here too last week (on the router) . BUT, I couldnt do anything online It was definitely Xnet playing up, (not this router), when nothing worked . |

If you can try another modem, do that and if it works and Xnet still say there is no problem at their end then get them to give Telecom a buzz . |
