| 610005 | 2007-11-10 04:12:00 | Hi all, currently i am stuck. I am trying to 1/2 bridge the 2 following devices. Linksys AM300 "Modem" D-Link 4100 Router The Modem's ethernet port is plugged into the routers WAN The problem: I have been trying to half bridge the 2 as the D-Link 4100 only has PPoE not PPoA. I have had no success. Before you ask why i don't just plug into a LAN port, not the WAN, the D-Link 4100 has some traffic management features which i would quite like to use. Currently i have the 2 currently going as 2 routers (no bridging) but this is a problem with port forwarding. I have the latest Firmware. They are both on different subnets. What i did for Half-Bridging: Ticked the 1/2 bridging tick box on the modem, no further changes need to be made as its already setup for PPoA Told the D-Link 4100 the address of the Modem Any idea's? Im completely lost |
