610083 2007-11-10 05:17:00 I have reluctantly installed Vista and really wasn't sure how long it would stay installed for to be honest but in saying that - I'm actually really happy with it.

Even though my e6850 - 4gb 1066 ram - 8800 ultra machine only scores 5.9 on vista's STUPID "computer experiance" scoring ... I have no idea how that can be that low.

Any way.

WMP in Vista - slight problem and wondering if anyone else has found it too. When listening to MP3's or watching a video - the tacking is very slow. Like you click to skip a bit of the track / movie and it lags by about 2 seconds and then skips to the part you want.

I have downloaded Winamp and had no problems with that, so seems to be only with WMP. I don't use WMP to play MP3's anyway but I do for movies, so yea ... any ideas?

610086 2007-11-11 08:06:00 Yes I have noticed that lag too . Happens on my top of the line Sony Notebook:

Intel Centrino Duo 2 . 16 GHz .

2 GB DDR2 RAM PC-4200 (533 MHz)

13 . 3” Wide Display Clear Bright LCD (1280 x 800)

nVIDIA GeForce 7400 GPU 64 MB ( +256 MB Shared Memory = Total of 335 MB)

DVD Writer DL/RAM Drive (MAT****A UJ-852S)

160 GB HDD

Turning off visualizations seems to enhance teh lag but not totally eliminate it .
