| 611426 | 2007-11-14 07:50:00 | Hi all, I have a PC with Vista (x86/32bit) that I use offline (ie not connected to the internet) and want to patch it. I have tried various methods to download updates as executables from my other XP-based machine connected with broadband: Windows Updates Downloader (this only has updates up to March this year) and AutoPatcher (this is history - literally - 404 error on downloads page!). Is there anywhere else I can download the updates from (preferably as EXEs)? I would also like to do the same thing with Office 2007 if pos. All help appreciated. |

| 611427 | 2007-11-14 08:16:00 | Get them with the XP PC and copy them across. Youre right Autopatcher is dead. I could send them to you somehow online. BUT the whole lot, altogether arent small. But, I've only got 128k upload but it's faster downloading. Actually Vista updates are WAY smaller than most of the XP ones. I've just zipped all of the x32 vista updates I've got, and the zip file is 106mb |
