| 612111 | 2007-11-16 19:52:00 | My Vista Home Editon has been trying to automatically install the lastest Windows update for a couple of days now with no success. The error code for the install is 80041002 In the Vista website it says code that resembles this: "Error found: Code 0x80240029" means thethe SoftwareDistribution folder is corrupted. I think this is to do with Windows Defender. Am I on the right track? Cheers Strummer |
