| 612174 | 2007-11-16 23:51:00 | Hi all, as the title states, I'm trying to set a group policy that disables the pop-up blocker for Internet Explorer 6 on a specific site. Problem is I don't know exactly how to do it. I'm still a relative noob when it comes to AD but I'm learning new things each day. Can anyone give me guidance as to how this can be done... I've tried Googling but I'm afraid the terms used are a bit over my head at this stage or they dont do want I want it to do. The scenario is... I have a group (which is basically a company department) within our Active Directory structure which requires the IE6 pop-up blocker to be deactivated for 1 specific web site. I want to do this using Group Policy... How do I do this. Thanks in advance |

Use the Group Policy Management Console (microsoft.com (www.microsoft.com)), create a new group policy and save it. Right click on the OU, click "Link Existing Policy" (or something like that) and then select the policy you created. |
