| 613675 | 2007-11-21 06:26:00 | i used to download stuff off bittorrent using free download manager because i dont have broadband. i worked a few days ago but when i tried it today it dosent work it goes: "downloaded: RD Speed: 0 B/S" anyone know whats wrong? |

I dont understand why you are using a download manager, the bt client will handle the piecing together of all the file fragments, and have no need for a download manager at all - the bit torrent client is it's own download manager in itself, and will work for broadband OR dialup as Speedy says - probably a dead torrent |

| 613680 | 2007-11-23 02:11:00 | Popular BT sites/trackers can/do get shut down. could be a lack of 'seeders' which makes it almost as good as dead. Also some torrents MAY be incomplete(if seeders drop off & its peers only) , so you may never get the whole file in that case & the download will then be quite intermittent A bittorrent program will show you whats going on, no of 'seeders', status of 'trackers' (try utorrent perhaps) en.wikipedia.org |
