Wainuitech's original point was pretty fair.

You guys could always just stop arguing :p

613739 2007-11-23 05:31:00 Hey mike I finally know the problem - You ask for help and possible suggestions and when someone who has given you other possible reasons that are not power supply related you simply dont want to admit that you may not actually be right. I know lots of shops that "stuff it up"

I'm not saying I am right , but I think I have a LOT more experiance with PC's than you do ( 14 years & my own business ) other wise you wouldn't have asked - but I have proven by giving you several other reasons a PC may shut down.

Post 24 - the seal between the CPU and Heat Sink
Possible mother board problem
CPU failing
Connections on the Motherboard failing
Power switch - got one here that does that
Hard Drive can do that
power supply

So If you didn't want an answer other than the one you already "know" is the problem why ask in the first place - and what do you reply with - insults.

Meaning that question I asked - what if its NOT the PSU - I really do hope for your sake it is the PSU - it very well may be, but it MAY also be something else.

And don't worry - I 'm not wasting my time on another word as this person knows all the answers any way. Best of luck with getting it fixed.

You are jumping to a few conclusions there.
