If you want use some of the advanced features then yeah its paid, for average user its fine, works perfectly on Vista but other wise when ever its "suggests" the paid version just click and tell it to F off. I've had several people ask me to remove Comodo as its to hard for the average user to understand - conflicting messages. |

| 613381 | 2007-11-21 22:51:00 | Well for some things, you have to add ports. If you dont use anything like P2P / IRC etc, it SHOULD work fine, no prob at all. BUT you're right it can be complicated. The good thing bout Comodo is its pretty secure lol. Hell 2.4 was so secure I couldnt even get to the Windowsupdate site, without adding ports to the Network Manager. At least v3 saved me from adding the ports for the WU site this time. BUT, I would still have to add ports for IRC. BUT, at the mo, I've removed it. The fw on the router should be good enough. I havent installed any fw since the end of Sept (when I got onto BB, and when I brought this modem/router). I havent been hacked to death YET. |

After running the updater, downloading the updates, and rebooting, all seemed to work fine |
