612950 2007-11-20 07:56:00 I think they sacrificed 1000 vigins, and in return were given the gift of MASSIVE MARKETING CAMPAIGNS, This weekend only, We have cut our prices to just a few hundred more then everyone else, Plus the quality sucks, And the salesman is telling you lies and tempting you with easy credit so he can make his $6.50 and buy a pie.

Don't forget that the people they are selling the computers to get completely baffled by all the bull**** as well.

612951 2007-11-23 01:08:00 Regarding the Nvidia 8800GT cards, they are in short-supply worldwide. Some computer stores have just received a new batch of the cards and it looks as if the prices have gone up (not surprising, as the cards are in great demand and are in short supply) from around $450 as of 2-3 weeks ago to around $500. ATI have just released 2 mid-range cards which, while not quite as powerful as Nvidia's 8800GT, are priced to be cheaper (maybe around $400-420) so you may consider ATI's cards as a more cost-effective choice. xmojo1 (4630)
