Read post 11 & 14 , its a Telstra CABLE modem - which WILL NOT work on a ADSL router - Telstra modems need a RJ45 connection or USB :yuck: - ADSL requires a telephone RJ12 Plug - totally different.:groan: I've seen many people purchase a ADSL router then wonder why it wont work with Tesltra's Cable. - Wrong device. Put in a Broadband CABLE router, set the IP details and it will work perfectly. EASY! |

| 614029 | 2008-01-07 01:26:00 | Well, you are quite right. I got a Belkin Router and now it all works fine! Wish I'd spent the extra $$ in the first place and got a router/WAP. Never mind, we got there in the end, and I'm very grateful to all who helped. You guys are great! Joe Davies |
