| 613990 | 2007-11-24 08:36:00 | hosting prices here are really bad ! most hosts here , on most their cheap plans host your files in usa servers anyway so why dont directly pay the usa server (not that i like them) but most plans here in nz are way too expensive for what they offer. check here: hostgator.com lunarpages.com bang for the buck!!! space in terrabytes, so as trafic plus unlimited databases ect. just register co.nz domain somewhere esle and add it to this servers as add-on domain..and your done. for real "hosted in nz servers" service you will pay with your liver and kidney here in nz. just imo |

Have you every had a site hosted by hostgator or lunarpages??? They oversell there server, which means slow sites & bad servers plus there support is not all that great! (Google them or take a look at: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ & do a search for hostgator or lunarpages & you will see what I mean….. Plus who needs a terabyte of space??? For there website? (Maybe if you have a very large site) for real "hosted in nz servers" service you will pay with your liver and kidney here in nz. It all depends on who you look at, yes there are a few NZ based web hosts that do charge an arm & a leg for hosting here in NZ, but there are other NZ based web hosts that don’t charge a arm & a leg for hosting here in NZ. You just have to shop around & take a look at a web hosts that met you needs & offer a good price for those needs. |
