I need to get the codec if WMP10 supports it if not..any ideas where to find this info?
It's not in SOUNDS>>Properties..etc...

Select the one that won't work if its in teh installed list,click remove, Then try and play the file, with luck it will install a healthy copy.

614307 2007-11-23 07:33:00 No it doesn't, WIndows Media (classic) player is already installed by default on XP, Just the shortcut is missing, and like later versions it looks for codecs installed into Windows for playback. Metla (12)
