| 614777 | 2007-11-24 19:24:00 | My PC dual-boots between Vista (main OS) and XP (one of my games takes ages to load on Vista, so I play it in XP) Currently to boot to XP I have to restart the PC and wait for the boot menu to appear (for 1 second) and hit the down arrow to select XP. I have seen in the past a boot selector type program that lets me select what OS I am going to boot to after I restart, and it boots that OS instead of my having to use the boot menu. Does anyone know of such a program, and where I can get one? Free would be preferred ;) Cheers, Mike. |

| 614779 | 2007-11-24 19:44:00 | Thanks Speedy - I'll take a look, but I think I've tried that one before and IIRC it lets me edit my boot menu etc., but I still need to use the boot menu to select the OS to boot to, rather than my being able to select it from Windows before I restart... I'm sure I've seen one before lol :D Mike. |
