| 615484 | 2007-11-26 19:31:00 | :help: Hi everyone, Small problem.... my excel randomly freezes then crashes and when I send the fault to Microsoft ( Via the send error message page) it comes back with this answer. The problem was caused by Microsoft excel 2002 which was created by microsoft corporation. M excel 2002 is in its "extended support "phase. Thisphase of the support began on July 11 2006. Only security related solutions are created by microsoft for this version of M office. Recomendation is to upgrade to the latest version of Office. Thing is ( and I am no expert so may be asking a dumb question) If I look at whicjh version of Office I have it says XP...... are these the same things. Any other suggestions?? Thanks:dogeye:  |

| 615485 | 2007-11-26 19:50:00 | Dont know if this will help -- You can try opening Excel, click on "Help" in the top menu and locate " detect and repair" this should go through and check the program, it may ask for the Office CD at some stage. | wainuitech (129) | ||
