| 1421410 | 2016-06-04 01:52:00 | It'll be something you've installed like a toolbar or something, that's crashing it. What version of FF is installed? 46.01? I'm using it to reply, works fine. Look in addons and see whats there (thats not meant to be there). And if ccleaner is installed go to tools / browser plugins / firefox. Click on save to text file. Copy and paste what comes up in here |

| 1421411 | 2016-06-04 01:52:00 | Yep still using it no problems. I actually use Firefox, Edge, IE, waterfox (a variant of FF) and on the odd occasion Chrome. If FF is crashing its got a problem someplace, try running it with add ons disabled, see if it plays up. Have a read troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode (support.mozilla.org) If it works OK you have to disable all the add-ons and try again normally, you can then turn them back on one at a time till it crashes again. |

| 1421416 | 2016-06-04 21:21:00 | I do, no problems on three computers. If I want to send a link to someone from Chrome, can't do, Never liked IE. | Misty (368) | ||
| 1421417 | 2016-06-05 01:39:00 | FF seems to be crashing on program close (loosing tabs), something that has not been prevalent in the past, but otherwise OK. I could never quite grasp why so many confine themselves to one browser program. The advantages of having several to choose from are significant for me. Aside from checking/testing pages, getting around cookies easily is another advantage. Interesting to see that range of browser programs mentioned by others forumites. (I'd not heard of waterfox before - must have a shufti) |
