1421277 2016-06-01 00:04:00 I am trying to download a latest copy of Windows 10 Pro to upgrade a Win7 Pro laptop. I downloaded the Win 10 Media creation tool (www.microsoft.com), but it only shows Win10 and there's no Win10 Pro available.

What is happening?

1421278 2016-06-01 00:09:00 Haven't created a USB stick for a while but pretty sure the last one I did had all versions in one, Home & Pro plus x86 & x64. CYaBro (73)
1421279 2016-06-01 00:17:00 Yup I'm pretty sure it'll ask which one you want to install (when you boot from a flash drive / dvd) depending on the key you type in

But the downloads are different. One for x86 the other for x64. x86 and x64 aren't in the same ISO

1421280 2016-06-01 00:25:00 Speedy, are you saying that the Win 10 contains all versions?

When I run the Media creation Tool, there's no options to select the Editions, only Windows 10 available.

Strangely, I went to the same MS site from another PC (Win8.1 Pro), to download the Media Creation Tool and there are options to select the various Editions.

But when running the Tool, the download hangs at 0%

18% in an hour on fibre

Try Techbench, scroll down the page and work through: www.microsoft.com

Just trying it now - downloading at 12 - 15MB/sec not to bad since my plan is only 10MB/sec :D Est time 3 minutes

Did you select create installation media for another pc in the tool? If you didnt (if it's on upgrade your pc now), it wont give you the option to get 32, 64 bit or both

1421284 2016-06-01 05:16:00 Downloaded from wainutech's link, it's real fast. I selected English (not English International), is it correct? Also, it doesn't give me the option to choose Win10 version, am I right to say that I will have the option to choose Win10 or Win 10 Pro during the installation process?

Speedy, I did select create installation media for another PC in the tool.

Speedy, I did select create installation media for another PC in the tool. Its the same download basically and comes with both versions, W10 or Pro. If you enter a Key it will sort out which version the key is for, or if you skip the key you can select either, just make sure you select the right version for what you have, the Pro version wont activate on the home Key.

The download buttons on the site give the option of X64 or x86 (32bit) English will give you the default USA, instead of UK -- but I've used both, keys work on both and personally I've found apart from a couple of regional settings which you can easily change there's no difference.
