1420921 2016-05-25 03:09:00 Does the fibre ONT make an electrical buzzing sound?

Thanks.

If I put my head up to the tv or a wireless router for example I can hear a high pitched buzzing sound.

1420922 2016-05-25 04:23:00 Components in the devices. Cats (and probably dogs) can electricity in wires, but I doubt people can.... pctek (84)
1420923 2016-05-25 04:42:00 The old TV / monitor I've got on the other PC used to make a buzzing noise. It was like a swarm of bees, coming from the back of it

After a while, it got annoying. Got it fixed under warranty, something to do with the power was shot.

Well , since your head is on the TV or router, listening for buzzing, you wont be hearing any buzzing from the ONT's power pack. :punk
Any possible buzzing will also be drowned out from the PC's fan noise .

You want real buzzing, try real old, clapped out CRT monitors . Back in the day some were so bad they hurt my ears .

1420927 2016-05-25 22:35:00 Mine's quiet, I can't hear anything over 15khz anyway but buzzing would be low frequency methinks so no.

And just don't put your head up to things, problem solved.
