I use the water from an Air dehumidifier for batteries. You can also use rainwater collected in a glass or plastic container. The effect of tap water on batteries is not as great as it used to be owing the modern plate separators not being made of wood. Any clean water is better than none. |

I sometimes buy bottled water if I'm out and want a drink and there's no tap handy. Better for you than soft drinks anyway. I don't care if it's just filtered tap water, it still tastes better than unfiltered tap water. |

I hope no one smashes my face in :devil Sometimes I buy bottled water. I refill them from the filter tap at home and when the bottles get a bit manky looking I put them in the recycle bin. I also have a thermal bottle that a thoughtful niece bought me for Christmas. I fill it with chilled water and take it with me when I am travelling in the car. If you still feel the need to smash my face in could I just ask that you use that pent up anger and save it for someone who has committed some heinous crime.
Bottled water has it's uses where the tap water is putrid, you have a feeling there is something unsavoury in the water system or you are needing a drink and are far away from home. Not every place has good water on tap, one bar had tap water that would disinfect an entire swimming pool. |
