We are not all John Waynes you know,.!

I can see from your picture that you too need a little sunshine .

You've got that funeral parlor pallor .

1417120 2016-03-12 01:02:00 I now know why this urge to go out a buy a gun comes from. Cicero (40)
1417121 2016-03-12 01:52:00 Did youse guys know that in Montana that you can own a full-on machine gun? With a silencer?

It has to be manufactured here, of course, and you cannot take it out of the state boundaries ---- but think what you could do locally .

Machine guns are manufactured here in Montana, although since every one has one already, the company is kinda letting off some employees . Machine gun manufacturing is not a growth market .

With just over one million people living here, there is such a small footprint by any one or two persons, that the rules are still kinda 1880s .

When I first got here with my Arizona license plates on both my Isuzu and my Blazer K10, that I got stopped just to 'ask a few questions' by the local gendarme .

As he approached my window - me used to felony-stops by California cops - had both my hands on the steering wheel in plain view - and the cop told me to relax . Then he said: "If you have a gun in the car, don't show it to me . I don't want to know about it" .

He just wanted to check out my Arizona registration . But it was illuminating .

The reason for the silencers being legal, is that when you shoot (whatever) something, you don't want the grizzly bears to hear the shot . That's, so they don't come running to find a gut pile . If you're still cleaning your kill, then you might wind up as a snack too . More illumination .

Wow - this post has certainly been hijacked - huh?

It's a fig .

1417122 2016-03-12 02:14:00 I am in the process of renewing my gun licence.
First a friend I put down as a ref was asked questions about me for 10 mins by cop, then my wife for 20 mins and last but not least me, 30 mins.

I have had a license since 65 but still this process must go on.

"Put down" in the US means to shoot, behead, remove blood pumping organ or something that causes the person or animal to assume room temperature.

First reading it, I wondered: "Why did he use someone he killed as a reference?" and how can he use a dead person as a reference? and wouldn't the friend be somewhat miffed by being shot-beheaded-eviscerated and not be a bad sport about it all and be a bad reference anyway?

All good questions.

It might be a Kadota fig, come to think about it.

1417126 2016-03-12 03:16:00 Hey, Cic . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . You'll get old someday too, gov, and you'll see things in a different perspective . Or not .

Besides, I lost most of the retina in my right eye and when I see things like you sentence, incompletely - the brain tries to fill in - logically, mind you - what it can't see and just makes something up .

In this case, you obviously eviscerated a friend . Not so hard to believe now, is it?

That might be an Adriatic Fig .
