1416582 2016-02-28 02:56:00 For the Rebublicans, Ted Cruz. For the Democrats, Hillary Clinton all the way!

LLPlease, not Clinton. She is just another warmonger from way back, and in thrall to the big corporations as well. Bernie Sanders is the best on offer, I think.

All in all though, US politics is a joke.

1416584 2016-02-28 04:25:00 No, after all, they voted in Reagan.

Yeah. His track record is also one of the better of recent presidents.

Like it or not, Maggie Thatcher was one of his most ardent supporters. And she was never one to suffer fools gladly.

1416586 2016-02-28 18:46:00 What did America do to deserve Trump as President?

You want a list?
America is one of he most hypocritical nations around.
Highly religious and porn capital of the world.
All men are equal and full of racism.
Justice - they have long sentences for small robberies, yet people who rip off millions in white collar crime get bugger all.
Trump included - he got away with his debt

1416587 2016-02-29 02:51:00 This idiot shows what a good marketing team can do.
This ******'s stupid comments have gained enormous coverage throughout the world.
Ask anybody "Who is running for the Republican Candidacy of the US".
The answer will always be "Trump" because that's the only name they ever hear.
They say the US always has the "Best President that money can buy" - that at least is true.
Heaven help us.

1416588 2016-02-29 02:55:00 It's a pity Obama can't run for another year or two.
Might at least get some traction on their gun law problems ?

That needs a first term president with the guts to tackle the issue, as opposed to a second term president in run out mode with nothing to lose.

1416590 2016-02-29 03:47:00 Brother in law and wife from the USA are staying with us for a few days. It appears that Trump is spending bugger all on advertising. Around $700,000 to date. He is getting all his traction from his gross statements, so no advertising needed.

They are not Republicans but don't like Hillary as she is considered a liar. They say that Obama is a do nothing president and the people will be glad to be shot of him. Trump is considered a boofhead who appeals to the rednecks.

All very interesting :)
