1417337 2016-03-13 19:07:00 I am highly skeptical about these things. .

So was she. So am I.

(As for medical cannabis it's BS. It can be good for nausea and perhaps convulsions, as for pain, no. One or two recreational smokers told me that.
She did, however, try it. And she says it's BS....)

However, the results of the laser have been positive for her. I've met her, you haven't, if someone told me the story I'd have my doubts too. Strong doubts.
All I can say is she was a write-off, now she is - not cured, not back to normal - but able to do a few things now and have some kind of life.

How long it lasts, who knows? Long term? I suspect long term in her case won't be great, but for now, she can take her daughter to school, walk around a bit and do a few household tasks without being ****ed for days.

1417338 2016-03-14 17:22:00 Friend of mine has been through hell in the last 11 years.
She had a congenital condition and then after labour, her back was trashed... blah blah blahTell her to try Tramadol. Highly recommended for a quick and easy fix, and without the need to write a blimmin essay about it.

Oh funny.
Tramadol is just a mid range painkiller.
She went beyond that years ago, her last prescription was morphine.

Have another drink.

Have another drink. Tramadol is not as cracked up as some think - Totally agree with PCTek.

SWMBO at night ( with her shoulder injury) is like a bear with a sore toe sometimes - :annoyed: She was prescribed Tramadol, but they have done no good. Her appointment with the specialist (even private) is not till April -- Its going to be a long month :waughh:

I agree about the Tramadol. The one that suited me the best was Paradex, spot on, no side effects, withdrawn by Pharmac. Also now on Morphine. Eases pain, improves mood, but does not help my brain when trying to problem solve. I have 3 unresolved threads on the forum because I don't understand what to do. A bit of a Bugger. PJ

Interesting to note that you're so conversant with mid-range drugs. However in your sad situation I'd simply recommend prunes... they help getting rid of a lot of shyte.
