1416417 2016-02-24 04:07:00 I buy about 1 bottle a week, then re-use the bottle for a few days from the office water cooler, then throw it out and get another. Can't be arsed trying to clean the bottles and even with water in them they are the cheapest drink bottles you can get.
I also take the lid right off, I like to drink not sip. At home I just keep a jug of tap water in the fridge. I do have a filter but not because I am worried about water quality but rather because it has an odd metallic flavour on this side of the river I wasn't used to when I moved here.

Incidentally I can taste no difference between bought water and the stuff from the cooler which is just filtered tap water. Truly the biggest difference to straight tap water is the temperature and that's easily matched.

1416418 2016-02-24 04:26:00 My tap water comes out of the tank, strained but not filtered, no added chlorine or other salts, and it is cold, sweet, and refreshing. It makes a great cup of tea, and superb ice blocks for my whisky. Bird droppings are minimal as I always let the rain wash the roof for a couple of days before diverting the run-off to the tank. 1416420 2016-02-24 06:29:00 Its the biggest crime against the planet there is. Water is heavy oil is used transport it and make the bottles. I dont know if its just me but when I see people sipping from them I feel like smashing their face in. prefect (6291)
1416421 2016-02-24 08:58:00 I have been drinking a lot of Lipton's cold tea from a bottle lately. Bobh (5192)

1416423 2016-02-24 09:07:00 The Bottled water commonly on sale at supermarkets is filled from the town supply in any event. A fashion accessory for the gullible without enough common sense to realise they are being ripped off.

Are you saying the advertisements are just so much iWash?? ;)

Used a gourd or an animal bladder to carry their water in. Or probably just drank from wayside streams which were much cleaner before man started polluting them
