| 617612 | 2007-12-04 03:49:00 | You using wireless or wired connection? i have both, i get the same result. IP, subnet, dns, gateway are all correct, just no actual outside connectivity, ie, if i surf to www.pressf1.co.nz using firefox in ubuntu, it keeps saying at the bottom "connecting to ww.pressf1.co.nz" and no progress, checked the network settings in the advanced panel of firefox, not using a proxy, i even turned off the encryption to see if that made a diference. It didnt |

| 617613 | 2007-12-04 03:52:00 | Yup, I cant remember anything coming up for the network info . When I was on dialup or broadband . After it was installed I rebooted, it worked . The only thing the setup asked for, was my userrname / pw, where and what hdd I wanted to put Ubuntu on . That was it . |
