617462 2007-12-03 09:01:00 LOL - there are so many ways that right-click blocking could be curcumvented, but one of the easier ways I have seen is simply when you are veiwing a page using right-click block, just paste this in the address bar, hit return (or the Go button) - and there's your right click menu!!! :)

javascript:void(document.oncontextmenu=null)

Right click blocking is a real turn-off for visitors and really accomplishes nothing in the way of securing content at all

617464 2007-12-03 19:14:00 Thanks everyone for your comments/advice. I didn't really like the idea of right click blocking so you have definitely convinced me not to go down that route! susann (12077)
617465 2007-12-04 03:51:00 Doesn't matter what you do, if the image is on the website, it can be copied. always.

The only way to make sure nobody ever downloads it is never to have it on the server

People who would be fooled by a simple right click block would probably not want to download the image anyway, people who want the signature for illegal reasons would very likely have much better knowledge on how to get a copy for themselves

Although, very likely also, nobody would actually want to anyway.
