| 617647 | 2007-12-03 21:05:00 | Hi there Im having trouble with the simplist of things, on a new layer, I want to add a small colour filled box that doesnt occupy the full layer. Id like to be able to do the same with a Circle. I know how to set the Stroke & Fill colours, but stuck on how to draw the damn box. Its easy as in MSPaint, but I cant see how I do this in Photoshop CS2.Thanks John in Mosgiel. |

| 617648 | 2007-12-03 21:13:00 | You could use the Pen tool either freeform or by using anchor points Or Use the Marquee tool, choose your shape from the flyout menu and drag select your shape. Once selected, just fill it and use Edit Menu, Fill/Stroke to set fill and or outer colour and line size |
