| 617424 | 2007-12-02 19:25:00 | Hi guys, just wondering you know how you can capture your computer screen as a still picture using some kind of software, or even using the print screen key on your keyboard, are there any Free software that can capture your screen activities and out put it as video? what I want to do is capture what is going on on the screen when I am playing games. just any kind of help will be greatly appreciated. I just use Hypercam, but it has a little icon in the right corner, nothing noticable, and that is good for low end specs, www.download.com I also use to use a free one called camstudio, but that uses up quite a bit of processer on my 2.4ghz so not a good one to use for high end gaming. http://camstudio.org/ I guess you could download a 30 day trial of Camtasia Studio 5 it is very good but very expensive, but if your just doing it for a while the fully working 30 day trial will be very good, www.CamtasiaStudio.com |

| 617426 | 2007-12-03 03:15:00 | Hi there, thanks for the reply. my laptop has a core 2 duo running at 2Ghz, 2Gb of ram and a 7200rpm HD that is 60Gb. the game I am running is worms world party, good old school game, doesn't take up a lot of cpu but during the game if you get out of it using Ctrl + Tab, you can't get back in. I will give all of them a go, thanks.:thumbs: |
