617985	2007-12-05 03:43:00	yep............I am leaning towards it being a recognised problem as LG post a firmaware upgrade which among other things says this: 101 - Fixes bug. Some Blank CD-R disc are not regonized after removing a pressed CD. i'm just a bit wary of it cause they also say this: This firmware upgrade is for LG Branded drives. This upgrade is NOT designed for drives manufactured for HP, IBM, Compaq, Dell or any other OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customers which appears to rule out the drive as it's an acer box.......well I may yet have to tell the customer that if they want it fixed that's the risk they take...... speedy: it's not relevant if 'no-one' uses windoze cd writing software......theres plenty of professional techs who hang around in here and I was hoping perhaps one of them would have come across this issue.....and if they haven't and I fix it then perhaps they'll be pleased to store the 'how' away for future reference as i do with many posts I read but dont or cant participate in	drcspy (146)
