| 618906 | 2007-12-07 23:27:00 | I cannot play any PCWorld magazine disks on my DVD drive (LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-832S ). It plays every other disk perfectly well. I have had various "experts" look at the problem but after an hour or so they shrug their shoulders and leave me to it. Anyone else had this problem and solved it? Emails would be welcome. | 618907 | 2007-12-08 00:46:00 | Welcome to PressF1 Petmar Had a Couple do that - I go into "My Computer", right click the DVD, select Autoplay, if that doesn't work try selecting open or Explore the locate the index.html and double click it, it then opens the start page and away you go. |

| 618915 | 2007-12-09 21:13:00 | Thanks Wainui and Bantu. Yes, I had already tried those suggestions but all that happens is that the machine tells me that "E:\ is not accesible. Incorrect Function." Which means, of course, that I cannot even get INTO the disk! I am being driven barmy by this problem. Any further ideas? Is their something amiss in the settings? Or could it be a viral problem? although except for the PCWorld DVD problem, the machine in all other respects appears to be working perfectly normally. |
