| 618287 | 2007-12-06 01:37:00 | Am using Photoshop Elements 6, also Ulead PhotoImpact 12, and any copy made takes at least 5 minutes to paste into another empty folder, even just a small picture - size seems irrelevant. Is this a Vista hangup? Or is there another likely problem. Only have one programme open at a time. Al |

| 618291 | 2007-12-06 03:14:00 | I use Photoshop CS3 on Mac with no problems. I do not use Vista and nor do I use a Mac. But I do use Photoshop CS3 under WinXP Pro 64 bit O/S on a PC. It just works!!! |

Really I would have liked to answer the original post with helpful information but as I do not use Vista I can not see a solution at this time. I was really hoping that as I run a 64 bit O/S and Photoshop CS3 I may be able to help. |

I think I answered the question earlier when I said that the slow copying of files in Vista was a known or one of many known issues within the system -although it may not affect all Vista users. |
