| 619046 | 2007-12-09 21:35:00 | Tried Capturix Scanshare it worked great for what is required. only US$10 sure cheaper than RemoteScan at $180. http://www.capturix.com/ Remotescan might have more control maybe I don't know. Scanshare is just accessed by a web browser and scans the entire page, but not too hard to crop later as needed. |

An extra application is needed. From some internet hints, I think you might need to see if all these things you have ever checked: 1. You ensure that you v got a scanner of which share function is featured; and your drive does support the share too. 2. Have you installed "NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol"? You might need this b4 you can share your scanner. |

| 619049 | 2007-12-10 00:45:00 | From what i have found SOME scanners have extra software on their CD's that allow sharing. Also from my research WinXp up to SP1 seemed to have the ability to Share a Scanner, but SP2 ended that. Win2k seemingly also is able to share scanners. NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol did not add any extra Share functionality either. |

| 619051 | 2007-12-10 02:10:00 | That looks like a cool toy. I have two software programs now working fine. Can scan from the other computers and from most programs now. One a legal demo the other not quite:-) |
